Stop DWI!!!!!

My 18 yr. old daughter, Kayla, was killed by a drunk driver on June 30, 2006. This is her 97 Grand Am. Juan Nave was driving the vehicle that hit and killed Kayla. His blood alcohol concentration (BAC)was 3 times the legal limit at .25%. He was on the wrong side of a 4-lane divided highway. Too drunk to know what he was doing. He is now serving a 20 year prison term for intoxicated manslaughter. Because the jury found that he used his vehicle as a deadly weapon, he will have to serve at least 10 years before being eligible for parole. The decisions you make concerning drinking and driving will not only affect you but many others you won't even know about. Nave's decision that night has touched many people. His family is suffering also. They have in a way lost a loved one too. Please think about your loved ones before drinking and driving. They don't want to lose you either. Please don't drink and drive. Don't even let your friends. You could save their life. Her death was instant but our pain will last a lifetime. .
